At Himelfarb Consulting, we understand that there are times when an organizational leader is stumped by performance issues or problems, needs some expert advice, or just simply doesn’t have the time to thoroughly assess, analyze, or solve the issues themselves. At those times, we stand ready to listen, assess, advise, and work together to develop and implement solutions.

1. Process Improvement

There are many processes in organizations that are cumbersome, repetitive, inefficient, and resource laden. When these processes are improved, organizations see dramatic improvement in key performance outcomes such as quality, service and cost. Himelfarb Consulting has expertise in design thinking, Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement. We facilitate retreats, workshops and meetings that result in roadmaps for improvement that are strategically aligned with organizational mission and vision.

2. Building High Performance Teams

Organizations do not run at their best if people do not work well together. To maximize team performance, Himelfarb Consulting performs assessments and facilitates team building and development based on the root cause of a problem. Our approach to team development includes examination of goals, roles, procedures and interpersonal relationships.

3. Leadership/Management Development Assessment

Organizations need both good management and good leaders. They are not necessarily one and the same. Management plans, budgets, organizes, staffs, controls and problem solves to keep the organization running. Leadership establishes direction, aligns people, motivates and inspires for significantly changing circumstances. It is critical that the organization’s development plan for managers and leaders aligns with future strategy. Himelfarb Consulting can assess leadership/management development needs and develop plans to address the needs in alignment with strategy.

4. Designing Effective Organizational Structure & Meeting Architecture

The work of an organization can be accomplished best when the most effective and efficient structure is in place. This includes managing what meetings take place, with whom, and for what reasons. Knowing who makes what decisions is also critical. Himelfarb Consulting assists organizations in getting a solid structure in place along with the meeting architecture to best support the organization’s work.
